With over 1 million of its member involved in the trading and marketing of rice, RIFAN is a market leader in the procurement and sale of rice and associated products and focuses on the origination of rice commodities on behalf of third parties and end users.


With cumulative experience of 20 years, RIFAN’s 300 members involved in milling specialise in the production of a wide range of superior rice products, from those which are grown, stored and milled with no chemical residue, using state of the art mill technologies.


RIFAN members are also involved in the Nigerian agricultural export market. With very experienced and dedicated members, combined with strong grower relationship, RIFAN is now linking grower accumulation through to international markets and buyers.

RIFAN is currently exporting rice to surrounding West African and Sub-Saharan countries.


RIFAN offers both long term and short-term equipment leasing options to its members. The equipment ranges from fairly used to brand new equipment.

Recently, RIFAN partnered with GXT Limited, a company on the verge of establishing a facility to manufacture and assemble tractors, heavy duty machineries, equipment and other agricultural vehicles in Nigeria.

RIFAN conducts research aimed at boosting the productivity of farmers as well as create an enabling environment for the cultivation of farm produce. The essence of the research is to consistently seek the most effective methods/varieties that will invariably impact on the output of farmers as well as their markets.

RIFAN helps companies to train farmers in latest technologies on how to cultivate rice and other grains. Our training methods employ participatory training techniques to achieve training objectives which includes interaction and empowerment.
